The East Africa chapter works to create a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region by working together to better understand and leverage existing resources in the region, facilitating interaction among local actors, identifying common challenges, and encouraging collaborative projects to address them. The chapter also hosts workshops, round table discussions, and networking events for members to share best practices for supporting entrepreneurs in the region and to seek out partnership opportunities.
The CAM chapter works to create a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region. The chapter leverages ANDE’s global connections to strengthen the local network, foster stronger relationships, and encourage collaboration among members and other local actors. The chapter focuses on developing local research projects, building local capacity, catalyzing collaboration opportunities, and creating knowledge sharing spaces through workshops, peer learning events, roundtables, and other events.
ANDE’s Brazil chapter works to create a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Brazil. The chapter leverages ANDE’s global connections to strengthen the local network, building stronger relationships and collaboration among members and other local actors. We provide members specialized knowledge about the field, national and international connections, and funding opportunities. We also encourage partnerships and knowledge sharing to build the Brazilian SGB sector.

It does so by working together to better understand and leverage existing resources in the region, facilitating interaction among local actors, identifying common challenges, and encouraging collaborative projects to address them. We work through the local ecosystem and connect it to ANDE’s global network, fostering relationships and promoting collaboration between members.
Villgro Philippines inspires, funds, and nurtures entrepreneurs who are addressing the most urgent social and environmental issues through innovative market-based models. As an early-stage impact incubator, Villgro specializes in four key sectors, including agriculture, healthcare, education, and climate. Recently, Villgro launched WE Rise, an accelerator focused on addressing the needs of women entrepreneurs and bridging the funding gap with flexible financing solutions.

The Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE), a global network of almost 300 organizations that propel entrepreneurship in emerging markets, Social Enterprise Thailand Association (SE Thailand), the British Council – the UK’s cultural relations organization – the United Nations Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), and Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) today co-launched two new reports: Bangkok Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Snapshot and The State of Social Enterprise in Thailand.

In 2020, the Metrics from the Ground Up conference took place as a track alongside the Sankalp Global Summit. The event gave ANDE members and the community in India (and beyond) the chance to meet and share knowledge and best practices on impact measurement and management relevant to entrepreneurial support and the greater impact ecosystem.
