The COVID-9 pandemic accelerated a worldwide trend toward digitizing business advisory, coaching, training, and technical assistance services for small and growing businesses (SGBs). A recent ANDE survey of 30 enterprise support providers found the average share of digital services jumped from 24 percent pre-pandemic to 72 percent at the end of 2020.

We work to create a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region and deepen ANDE’s role as the leading convener for organizations committed to supporting entrepreneurship in developing economies. Chapter activities aim to strengthen the local network, encourage collaboration, and co-develop programs and services for and with our members and the sector at large.
The ANDE ESEA chapter envisions a thriving ecosystem for SGBs in the region. The chapter aims to create a platform that supports all stakeholders in the SGB ecosystem through training, knowledge sharing, facilitating introductions, and fostering collaboration among ecosystem actors.
The East Africa chapter works to create a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region by working together to better understand and leverage existing resources in the region, facilitating interaction among local actors, identifying common challenges, and encouraging collaborative projects to address them. The chapter also hosts workshops, round table discussions, and networking events for members to share best practices for supporting entrepreneurs in the region and to seek out partnership opportunities.
The CAM chapter works to create a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region. The chapter leverages ANDE’s global connections to strengthen the local network, foster stronger relationships, and encourage collaboration among members and other local actors. The chapter focuses on developing local research projects, building local capacity, catalyzing collaboration opportunities, and creating knowledge sharing spaces through workshops, peer learning events, roundtables, and other events.
