Small Foundation is a family foundation based in Ireland. Our vision is Africa permanently free from extreme poverty and chronic hunger by 2030. Our mission is to catalyze the proliferation of sustainable income-generating opportunities for extremely poor people in rural sub-Saharan Africa. To this end, our goal is to support highly-leveraged interventions that improve the business ecosystem for on-farm and off-farm micro, small and medium rural enterprises by expanding access to knowledge, finance, technology, and markets. We seek to do this in ways that are effective, sustainable and scalable.
