Echoing Green is an early stage funder of emerging social entrepreneurs and one of the most important and recognized leaders in the field of social innovation. We launch tomorrow's global leaders in social innovation by finding a diverse group of leaders through a global search; investing millions of seed funding in and providing support to their emerging social enterprises through a renowned and highly competitive Fellowship program; and connecting these leaders to the Echoing Green and broader social innovation communities. Over the past thirty years, we've annually identified thousands of social impact entrepreneurs, invested deeply in a select few, and built a network of almost 900 best-in-class social entrepreneurs working in 86 countries around the world (with deep focus on communities here in the United States). To date, Echoing Green has invested $47 million in these emerging leaders. These visionary leaders have gone on to leverage $6 billion for social good and have become the social impact leaders of our time, from social entrepreneurs like Wendy Kopp of Teach For America and Teach For All, to Raj Panjabi of Last Mile Health, and public figures like Michelle Obama and Van Jones. Echoing Green Fellows not only guide the social impact sector, but are also instrumental to its leadership development pipeline.
