A nonprofit international development organization founded in 1971, Pact works on the ground in nearly 40 countries worldwide to improve the lives of those who are challenged by poverty and marginalization. We strive for a world where all people are heard, capable and vibrant. We work to build systemic solutions in partnership with local organizations, businesses and government to create a world where everyone owns their future. As part of Pact’s ongoing transformation, Pact is expanding our work through new partnership models at the tri-sector. Pact Ventures works to magnify Pact’s global social impact by leveraging impact capital and other innovative approaches to sustainable funding and financing. By approaching development problems through the lens of creative financing vehicles and market-based incentive structures, Pact Ventures attracts public, private and social investment to drive Pact’s social programming and related innovations. Pact Ventures looks for opportunities that overlap with Pact’s mission and theory of change, including: 1) Structuring outcomes-based and shared value partnerships with corporates and public / social sector organizations, 2) Investing in social enterprises and entrepreneurs that drive demonstrable social and financial impact, and 3) Financing innovative approaches and models to solve the world’s most pressing challenges.
