Dennis joined ANDE’s East Africa chapter in May 2021. He brings a lot of experience in Africa’s research and policy space; majorly in agriculture, climate action, livelihoods, gender and youth programmes. A space that has seen him co-author several working papers and reports. Dennis is passionate about inclusive sustainable development and maintains an interest in research and analysis to inform implementation of social entrepreneurship programmes. Prior to joining ANDE, Dennis worked as a Policy Analyst with the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), and as a Research and Policy Analyst with the Jesuit Justice and Ecology Network of Africa (JENA). He also co-founded, 254 Youth Policy Cafe (YPC), a youth owned and run nonprofit think and do tank based in Kenya. He holds a bachelors degree in Agricultural Economics from Egerton University, Kenya and a master’s degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Egerton University, Kenya and University of Pretoria, South Africa.
