SME Founders Association has supported SGB Owners to enhance their competence, compliance, and ability to access capital through structured learning and networking activities since 2015. Through partnerships and tailored programs, we connect SGBs to money, markets and mentors through the 3M Flagship program which trains trainers, and mentors to increase capacity-building providers to support SGBs to foster the creation of decent and sustainable work as a strategy to alleviate poverty. For us work is the ability to pay oneself and hire others at a reasonable rate to improve livelihoods. We have a talent development program (Young Global Workforce Apprenticeship (YGWA) which equips school leavers with skills to create gigs in any geography and provide affordable talent for SGBs.
