This session is a part of the online event “Social Enterprise Thailand Forum 2021: Where Profit Meets Purpose” on 19th – 21st November 2021 by Social Enterprise Thailand Association, in collaboration with Good Society Network. The objectives of this Forum include exploring efficient solutions in tackling social challenges and building a cross-sector network that enables business growth along with social and environmental impact.

Social Enterprise Thailand Forum 2021 is the first Forum of its kind in Thailand, gathering over 60 local and international ecosystem players across all sectors including the government, private sector, academic, international organizations, and social enterprises. The Forum aims to raise awareness on social entrepreneurship and acts as a platform for the private and public sector to explore collaborations with social enterprises, with the overarching goal of bringing communities and the nation towards the Sustainable Development Goals. The Forum consists of keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and clinics from more than 80 ecosystem experts.

On the morning of 19th November, there will be keynote speeches from 4 executives:
1) Mr.Renaud Meyer, UNDP Resident Representative to Thailand
2) Dr. Pakorn Peetathawatchai, President of The Stock Exchange of Thailand
3) Ms.Napa Setakorn, Director of the Office of Social Enterprise Promotion and
4) M.L.Dispanadda Diskul, Chairman of Social Enterprise Thailand Association.

The three panel discussions in the afternoon will be joined by many executives, such as Mr. Chanin Vongkusolkit, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banpu; Mr.Pipatpong Israsena Na Ayudhya, Managing Director and CEO of Doi Kham; Ms.Aliza Napartivaumnuay, CEO of Socialgiver; and Mr.Kaweewut Temphuwapat, Head of Venture Builder SCB 10X. These distinguished speakers will be leading the discussion on opportunities and challenges in social entrepreneurship, the existing collaboration between the private sector and social enterprises, and funding for social impact. Those who are interested in social entrepreneurship and sustainable development should join us.

20th and 21st November will be filled with 27 workshops. On the Profit Day or 20th November, participants will enjoy workshops that address business challenges of social enterprises, ranging from business models, funding, understanding of the market, founders’ capabilities, talent seeking to legal considerations. The workshops on Purpose Day or 21st November will offer insight for participants interested in social impact assessment, policy, and support for social enterprises in Thailand and for businesses that are looking to make their social purposes more targeted and impactful. Participants can also attend one-on-one clinics with experts in the sectors through pre-registration.
