Sustainable solutions the world needs to hear

Today, I received an inspiring video from the Amazonian Innovation in the Bioeconomy – Impact for the Global Climate Agenda webinar, which took place on October 15. It was an honor to participate in such a meaningful event, where we engaged in deep discussions about the future of the Amazon and the transformative role of the bioeconomy.

The message was clear: the Amazon must be preserved and respected, as it holds sustainable solutions for the world, a point emphasized by many participants. It is crucial that people engage more closely, listen to local demands, and value the traditional knowledge and initiatives already active in this vast territory.

Special thanks to Guilherme Manechini from Kyvo, my strategic partner Alexandre (Alex) Alves, Danilo Zelinski, CFA, from KPTL, and the GlobalCompact, represented by CEO Carlo Linkevieius Pereira—all of whom were fundamental to the event’s success.

In my remarks, I emphasized the urgency of restoring leadership in territorial management to local communities, fostering a future-focused bioeconomy that generates positive social and economic impact.
The Amazon is essential to the global sustainability agenda, and together, we can forge an innovative path that respects its natural wealth and benefits the people who call it home.
