Streamlining Data Sharing for Climate Tech Entrepreneurs

The CLIMATE COLLECTIVE FOUNDATION‘s Mosambi platform tackles data-sharing challenges within the climate tech ESO ecosystem. By reducing fragmentation and ensuring global data privacy compliance, Mosambi seeks to empower climate tech startups to collaborate more effectively with investors and partners. Jui Joshi, Associate Director at Climate Collective, leads this initiative. Watch her Spark talk at the 2024 Global Conference.

As the entrepreneurial ecosystem grows, data-sharing challenges increasingly hinder collaboration and progress. During the ANDE Annual Conference, the Climate Collective Foundation took center stage to introduce an innovative solution to this issue. Jui Joshi, Associate Director at Climate Collective, led the Spark-talk with a focus on Mosambi, a cutting-edge platform designed to bridge the gaps in data-sharing across the climate tech Entrepreneurial Support Organization (ESO) ecosystem.

Mosambi, as highlighted by Jui, isn’t just about streamlining information flow—it’s about integrating advanced technologies like AI while ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations, such as GDPR. This platform promises to reduce the fragmentation within the ecosystem, enabling more efficient collaboration between climate tech startups and investors, a pivotal step toward scaling sustainable solutions.

Jui emphasized that data friction in the ESO landscape leads to inefficiencies and missed opportunities, particularly for startups in underrepresented regions. By addressing these pain points, Mosambi creates an environment where innovation can thrive, driving impactful climate tech solutions that benefit both local and global communities.

The discussion underscored the vital role of collaboration in overcoming systemic barriers, sparking excitement among attendees. As Jui Joshi explained, “By integrating data and reducing friction, we can unlock the full potential of climate startups, ensuring they have the resources to scale and make meaningful environmental impact.”
