CIEDS – Integrated Center for Studies and Sustainable Development - is a Brazilian nongovernmental organization founded in 1998 to articulate strategic partnerships to build and strengthen networks for prosperity.  By prosperity, we mean good education, food and nutrition, health, governance and especially confidence in the future. Network is a conception of work that assumes cooperation instead of competition. CIEDS believes that working in partnership with other institutions and individuals helps to create an extremely powerful network for the promotion of a more just, equitable and sustainable society, besides empowering us to better serve. We support SGBs through creating an environment to enhance economic and social development through capacity building activities and supply of strategic tools and mentoring, seeking the empowerment of people and local communities’ leaders with entrepreneur skills.
