The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) is an initiative supported by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India. We are a premier Bio-innovation hub driving breakthroughs in deep-tech and life sciences. We have been at the forefront of supporting exciting innovations and disruptive start-ups in the areas of Healthcare, Agriculture, and the Environment, and continue to build a thriving ecosystem that can address some of the world’s most pressing challenges. For over a decade now, C-CAMP has been the cornerstone of innovation, and has funded, incubated and helped advance more than 500 start-ups that have gone on to raise in excess of $550 million with a cumulative valuation of approximately $1.5 billion. C-CAMP has enabled the completion of more than 5000 research projects and over 2000 scientific personnel have been trained. Additionally, more than 100 Life Sciences products are in the market; 230+ new patents have been filed by C-CAMP start-ups; 13 technologies have been licensed; 260+ publications have been supported; and most importantly, these technologies have touched more than 50 million lives. C-CAMP supports small and growing businesses (SGBs) by providing them with a combination of mentorship (scientific and technical, business and IP/Legal), access to funding, acceleration and strategic partnerships (peer support, industry and academia linkages) and infrastructure (access to core high-end facilities e.g., sequencing, microscopy, mass spectrometry) tailored to the unique needs of life sciences startups.
