International NGOs (INGOs) are uniquely positioned to democratize development and help bridge the global north-south gap. By engaging in impact investing, INGOs can unlock access to cutting-edge innovations, diversify their income streams, and design fit-for-purpose capital instruments that channel patient capital into high-impact sectors often overlooked by traditional investors.

Despite this potential, many INGOs face knowledge barriers that limit their ability to invest effectively. To address this gap and accelerate solutions to the twin crises of climate change and inequality, the INGO Impact Investing Learning Series convenes a curated group of INGO practitioners to learn, share, and grow together.

This first session in the three-part series will explore how INGOs can play a catalytic role in providing critical finance to SMEs in Nepal’s agriculture sector—laying the groundwork for deeper engagement in impact investment across Asia.
