Recently, the Government of India notified the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules (DPDP Rules) 2025, which operationalize several key provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), 2023. Together, the Act and the Rules emphasize the principle of “privacy by design” and seek to equip individuals with comprehensive privacy rights and greater control over their personal data, its collection, use, processing and storage. Individual privacy assumes greater relevance today in the face of increasing digital and virtual data environment where processing for routine services, tasks and transactions occurs primarily online/digitally.

In this context, ANDE is collaborating with GameChanger Law Advisors to host a virtual Ask Me Anything (AMA) about the DPDP framework in India at 2-3 PM on Wednesday, 4th February. We will also share a presentation on DPDP rules 2025, prepared by GameChanger Law Advisors, in advance with the registered participants. We request that you review it to effectively participate in the session.
