
Batsi joined ANDE in March 2022 as the Program Coordinator for the Southern Africa Chapter, and has since transitioned to leading Communications for the Africa region.
She is a results-oriented Communications Strategist and Project Management professional with almost a decade of experience driving strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and program delivery across Africa. Her work spans entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development, with a strong focus on building inclusive ecosystems and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Batsi has successfully led high-impact initiatives involving diverse stakeholders, demonstrating a collaborative approach to relationship-building and operational coordination. Her expertise lies in media relations, brand positioning, and ecosystem development, underpinned by a passion for using communication as a tool for social and economic transformation.
Before joining ANDE, Batsi played a key role at the Simodisa Association, where she focused on strengthening South Africa’s entrepreneurial and emerging tech ecosystems. Committed to supporting underserved communities, she has led initiatives to empower township and rural entrepreneurs, equipping them with digital tools and skills to grow their businesses.
Her multifaceted background includes project management, strategic advisory, and the development and execution of communications and public relations strategies – positioning her as a dynamic leader at the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
