Showcasing Brazil’s Impact Economy on a Global Stage

COP30 marked an important milestone for ANDE members advancing climate and social innovation across Brazil. A standout achievement was the launch of the Impacta Brasil Portal (PIB) by Aliança pelo ImpactoBrazil. Developed with federal government support, the platform serves as a national showcase connecting socially and environmentally impactful enterprises with investors worldwide.
By centralizing information on businesses driving Brazil’s green and inclusive economy, the portal expands global visibility and opens new pathways for scale. Its inclusion in the COP30 Action Agenda’s Existing Bank of Solutions signals its potential as a gateway for impact-driven enterprises seeking capital and international partnerships.

Mobilizing Private Capital Through Global Investor Roundtables

Aliança pelo Impacto also partnered with GSG Impact and collaborated with PRI to lead a major global effort on climate-related private capital mobilization. Over several months, the coalition convened three Global Investor Roundtables focused on:

  • the Baku–Belém Roadmap and Brazil’s Ecological Transformation Plan

  • nature-based solutions and the bioeconomy

  • adaptation and resilience strategies

Regional sessions in Australia, China, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom broadened the dialogue. More than 250 investors, representing over USD 5 trillion in assets under management, participated. The resulting report outlines priority pathways to unlock private investment in climate solutions at scale and offers a shared roadmap for global and Brazilian stakeholders.

Impact Hub São Paulo: Expanding Climate Innovation and Territorial Solutions

Impact Hub São Paulo also made significant contributions at COP30, strengthening the climate innovation ecosystem supported by ANDE. Their engagement expanded opportunities for climate-tech startups, opened new investor connections, and elevated territorially based solutions—particularly those emerging from communities most affected by climate impacts.

Their work demonstrated how local innovation hubs can bridge grassroots entrepreneurship with global climate dialogues, ensuring that community-driven solutions are visible and valued in international forums.
