Nonceba joined the ANDE South Africa Chapter in June 2019. She gained some experience in the South African banking industry, at the Banking Association of South Africa. Within the same period, she assisted in the establishment of the Centre of Excellence in Financial Services focusing on research in the SADC region. She completed an undergraduate BCom degree, majoring in Law and Economics. This sparked her interest in the development of emerging market economies and her potential role in the economic development of South Africa. She holds an MCom in Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand, where she completed research on the on the Determinants of Household Savings in South Africa. Her studies focused on Development Economics and Econometrics.
