Immersive Excursions into Cancún’s Culture, Innovation, and Resilience
For the first two days of the Global Annual Conference 2025, participants will engage in sessions and networking with peers from across the globe. On the third day—Thursday, October 2, 2025—the program takes a different shape. We’ve curated a series of excursions beyond the conference venue, designed to highlight the innovation, culture, and environmental resilience of the Cancún region.
Participants can choose from a range of excursions, including a sea turtle release, a tour of local small and growing businesses, a visit to the ancient Mayan city of Chichén Itzá, an exploration of an organic garden and composting initiative, or a look at innovative solutions to the region’s sargassum challenge.
Experience a truly unforgettable evening led by the Palace Foundation Environmental Committee as we take part in releasing baby turtles into the sea. This hands-on conservation activity highlights the incredible journey of sea turtles while raising awareness about the urgent need to protect them.
Learn about the species that nest along Cancún’s shores, their biological and cultural significance, and the threats they face today. Together, we’ll reflect on how collective action can safeguard these remarkable creatures for generations to come.
