Sunil Cavale, Investment Principal at Speciale Invest
Sunil Cavale is an Investment Principal at Speciale Invest – a pre-seed stage venture capital firm investing in deep science and deep tech startups in India.
Sunil started his career with Toyota before joining an early-stage startup where he helped with the manufacture, shipping and sales of baby monitors. His curiosity to understand technology and business led him to Speciale Invest.
Over the past 4.5 years at Speciale, Sunil has worked on investments in biotech, spacetech, semiconductors, robotics, batteries, amongst others. He also works with multiple portfolio companies helping them grow from technology demonstration to product to early commercialization.

Kevin first made his mark in the food and beverage industry, where he co-founded several successful F&B lifestyle brands, ranging from healthy food, nightlife, to coffee, and became the leading standard for its product categories in Indonesia. His ability to understand consumer needs, streamline operations, and build strong brand loyalty became his signature approach. Today, that same mindset fuels Casion’s mission: to make EV charging accessible, reliable, and part of everyday life.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), majoring in Finance, Marketing, and Hospitality. He was also a featured speaker at TEDxYouth in Indonesia.
