What is Climate Week NYC?

Taking place this year from September 22-29, Climate Week NYC is a whirlwind of climate action! It’s the largest annual climate event globally, bringing together over 600 events and activities across New York City – in person, hybrid, and online.

Picture this: business leaders, policymakers, local changemakers, and passionate individuals from every corner of the world, all united in their drive for a sustainable future. That’s the magic of Climate Week. It’s where ideas spark, partnerships form, and progress accelerates.

Climate Week NYC is the brainchild of Climate Group, an international non-profit dedicated to driving rapid climate action. Their official program during the week is a magnet for top-tier international figures from business, government, and the climate sector.

This powerful event is a collaboration between Climate Group, the United Nations General Assembly, the United Nations, and the City of New York.

Beyond the official program, Climate Week NYC empowers hundreds of events across the city and even the world. It’s a vibrant platform for showcasing climate solutions, sharing knowledge, and fostering collaboration within the global climate community.
