SECO aligns its strategy with the overall objective of Switzerland’s international cooperation and aims at promoting economic growth and sustainable prosperity in its partner countries. It does so by promoting reliable economic framework conditions and by supporting innovative private sector initiatives. SECO supports SGBs through initiatives that aim to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems, that improve SGB’s access to finance and their skills, their integration into value chains and that provide them with incentives to integrate social, ecological and governance standards in their activities.
