Pedro Joined ANDE in April 2022 and serves as our Central America & México Chapter Head. Since August 2024, he has been responsible for leading ANDE in the Americas. He has over 15 years of experience working on developing entrepreneurial education programs with universities, local governments and accelerators and loves music festivals. Prior to joining ANDE, Pedro co-founded StartupLab MX a high impact business incubator network with offices in San Luis Potosí, Tabasco and Zacatecas in Mexico. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a M.B.A. from Baylor University
Lina Rossi comes to ANDE with over nine years of experience in the small and growing business sector to lead the Andean Chapter. Among her many accomplishments, she most recently served as Founding Partner of Grupo Impacta S.A.S., a Bogota-based consulting practice for small and growing business. She has also served as an independent consultant for various institutions, namely Fundación Bavaria, the philanthropic arm of Bavaria S.A., the largest beverage es in Colombia, and Corporación Excelencia en la Justicia, an NGO focused on justice issues and has professional work experience in both Bogota and Mexico City. Lina holds a Bachelor of Laws from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy. Lina will be based in Bogota, Colombia, where she will work out of the offices of our partner Socialab.
José joined ANDE as a CAM Program Coordinator in April 2020. He is a development professional with years of experience specializing in community and organizational development. His experience integrates expertise in program development and implementation, organizational partnerships, networking, teaching, research and communication. Among his accomplishments is the design and operation of an international foundation’s capacity-building initiative at the U.S.-Mexico border, as well as the design of a corporate university for a nationwide company. He holds a Master’s in Leadership and Management, as well as studies in Psychology and Public Policy Design.
Rodrigo is a sustainable development professional with 10 years of experience, specialized in social/economic inclusion and education projects, holding a MSc in sustainable development from the University College London and a certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from Tecnológico de Monterrey. He has experience with nonprofits, corporations, and social enterprises assemblies, and expertise in program development and implementation, partnerships, stakeholder management, volunteering, and communication. Among his most important experiences is the design and operation of a financial institution’s social strategy, including a mentoring and a financial literacy program with an information communication technology for education component, and the implementation of a partnerships and business development strategy for Mercy Corps’ global innovation program.
Lina joined ANDE in September 2022 and serves as the communications coordinator for the Latin American chapters. She has 8 years of experience working in the sectors of sustainability, corporate social investment, philanthropy, and impact investment. Her expertise includes coordinating communications for grantmaking foundations, networks, and social purpose organizations.
Before joining ANDE, Lina served as the Communication Head for Latimpacto, an impact investment network in the region. She holds a dual B. A in communication and psychology, and a master’s degree in international development cooperation.
Alissa joined ANDE in April 2022 and serves as our Program Manager for the Guatemala Entrepreneurship Development Initiative (GEDI), based in Guatemala City. Over the past 20 years, Alissa has supported international development initiatives in Latin America to promote economic development, community-based conservation, and sustainable agriculture initiatives. Prior to joining ANDE, Alissa served as Regional Development Manager with Solidaridad, building partnerships to ensure the sustainability of key commodity supply chains in Central America and Mexico. Alissa holds a B.A. from Wellesley College and a Master’s degree in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School of Social Policy and Development at Brandeis University.
