A Collaborative Agenda Grounded in Community Priorities

The newly released draft agenda for ANDE’s 2025 Global Annual Conference reflects what matters most to our members: climate entrepreneurship, gender equity, localized solutions, and collaborative learning. With 35+ interactive sessions already confirmed, this is your invitation to engage, share, and help shape what comes next.

By Roger Santodomingo, ANDE

The  ANDE Global Annual Conference 2025 isn’t just another gathering—it is an ambitious, discussion-driven event built from the ideas of more than 100 ANDE members and partners worldwide. And now, with the release of our draft agenda, we’re sharing the first view of what our community will explore together in Cancún this September.

This year’s session lineup reflects the growing demand for ecosystem strategies that are inclusive, context-specific, and data-informed. Based on proposals reviewed earlier this year, the program includes 10 workshops, 10 breakouts, 6 Spark-talks, 4 roundtables, 2 featured speakers, and multiple Entrepreneur Journeys, all designed to address key challenges and reveal practical tools across five learning tracks:

    • Ecosystem development in emerging markets
    • Inclusive innovation for sustainable development
    • Corporate engagement
    • Social and sustainable development
    • Diversifying funding models
Inside the Agenda: Big Questions, Local Solutions

Shell Livewire, 2024 AC Sponsor Remarks. Here’s a glimpse at what you’ll find in over 30 sessions across formats:

  • Sessions that bridge global and local impact. From community-driven housing solutions to cooperative-led financing in West Africa, the program reflects strong regional leadership and contextual experimentation.
  • Climate and gender at the center. Sessions like “Rooted in Resilience: The Transformative Journey of a Women-led Cooperative” and “Accelerating Inclusive Transitions in Clean Energy” spotlight intersectional impact and action-oriented insights.
  • Bold formats for deep engagement. In addition to panels and talks, the agenda includes interactive workshops, LEGO® Serious Play® breakouts, scenario planning exercises, and hands-on learning labs—with room for iteration and community shaping throughout.
  • Institutional ecosystem-building. Higher education institutions (HEIs) in Africa, corporate anchors in Latin America, and policy-shaping collaboratives across the Global South are all featured in conversations about how institutions can become more strategic ecosystem players.

Still Evolving—and Designed for Your Voice

While the agenda is robust, it’s essential to note that this is still a draft. That’s intentional. At ANDE, we believe that the best agendas aren’t static—they’re shaped by the people who show up. That’s why we’ve made space for continued input, refinement, and real-time collaboration.

Even if you didn’t submit a session proposal, there’s ample opportunity to engage. Our conference is built for participation. From speed networking and learning labs to curated roundtables and informal exchanges, you’ll find your place in the conversation. We’ve designed this event to ensure your insights shape not only your organization’s strategy but the sector’s future.
