Empower Climate Adaptation by joining the CAIL CoP Launch. Discover financing strategies for climate adaptation at our CAIL Community of Practice on November 11. Engage, learn, and share to drive MSME innovation.
Join the new Community of Practice (CoP) within the Climate Adaptation Innovation Leaders (CAIL) project, dedicated to fostering the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) focused on climate adaptation. Our first session, happening on 11 November 2024, will center on “Navigating Finance for Adaptation-Focused Businesses.”
This gathering is more than an information exchange—it’s a cornerstone for lasting relationships among MSMEs, investors, and other pivotal ecosystem players. We aim to cultivate a fertile ground for knowledge sharing, collaborative projects, and innovative finance mobilization strategies that attract private investment to climate adaptation initiatives.
Why Attend?
Engage with a network of peers and experts to uncover and discuss dynamic financial strategies that close the funding gap for climate-adaptive projects. This session offers practical insights into successful finance engagement models and opens the floor to your stories and challenges. It’s your opportunity to connect with key private sector actors and discover funding models that resonate with investors.
Share Your Story
Are you an MSME, startup, or funder with experiences in financing climate adaptation? We invite you to present your case stories during the session, providing a real-world perspective on navigating the financial landscape of climate adaptation.
Your input is invaluable. Share any specific topics or questions you want the Community of Practice to explore in future gatherings.
The CAIL project, financed by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and implemented by UNIDO in partnership with EIT Climate-KIC, the Global Adaptation and Resilience Investment Working Group (GARI), and the UNEP Finance Initiative, is a beacon for those at the forefront of climate resilience.
