Five One Labs is a start-up incubator that helps talented displaced and conflict-affected entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses. We aim to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and livelihoods and contribute to the economic growth of their communities. Our work centers on three Sustainable Development Goals: Decent Work and Economic Growth, Gender Equality, and Sustainable Cities and Communities. Currently based in Iraq with offices in Baghdad, Basra, Erbil and Sulaimani, Five One Labs creates flexible programs for entrepreneurs that are focused on human-centered design, business fundamentals, and leadership development. In addition to startup programming, we run Five One Invest, an initiative designed to increase access to finance for entrepreneurs in Iraq, and have completed several research and advocacy projects to ease the doing-business environment in Iraq.
