Roger Santodomingo
Assoc. Director of Communications

When he joined ANDE, Roger Santodomingo brought a wealth of experience, amplifying the voices of the inspiring entrepreneurs we have supported since 2023.

A seasoned journalist and entrepreneur himself, Roger has a keen eye for spotting businesses that are not only making a mark but also creating a positive ripple effect. Roger’s fight for human rights and press freedom, both in his native Venezuela and beyond, fuels his passion for empowering businesses to thrive in an environment of liberty and opportunity.

He holds two Master’s Degrees, one in Social Communications (UCV) and the other in Comparative Politics (LSE). His journalistic background spans prestigious outlets like BBC, Telemundo International, NTN24, and CNN en Español. Beyond journalism, Roger has a distinguished career as a writer, ghostwriter, author, media entrepreneur, and advocate, having worked and volunteered in organizations like Amnesty International.

When Roger isn’t championing the stories of our incredible entrepreneurs, you’ll find him spending quality time with his family or perfecting his skills on the karate mat. While he was a competitive athlete in college, two decades later, during the pandemic, he retook his martial arts practice, and in 2024, according to the AAU and Uventex, he rose to rank among the top ten veterans (35+years old) karatekas in the USA.
