Open Capital is a consulting & financial advisory services firm based in Nairobi that supports high-impact SGBs and impact investors across East Africa. We identify high potential SGBs, help them design business strategies, and raise capital to finance their growth. We also support impact investors in performing diligence, structuring transactions, and managing portfolio companies. We have supported SGBs and impact investors in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Mozambique. Our typical project involves pre-investment consulting work which includes analyzing business performance, developing growth strategy, measuring impact, and designing business controls, after which we support our clients through a capital raise. During this stage, we introduce clients to investors and support financial structuring, due diligence, and negotiations. We emphasize finding the right long-term investment partner for each of our clients.
