Jay is a serial venture builder who has founded many startups over decades, and is an advocate of innovation from the grassroots. He is currently the Managing Director of LAUNCHGARAGE, one of the leading startup accelerators and ecosystem builders in the Philippines. He is also the founder and CEO of agile development firm PROUDCLOUD, deploying agile product development teams to startups, scaleups, and tech enabled enterprises.
As a regular speaker at local and international forums on technology and social innovation, while holding roles as advisor, co-founder, and mentor to many tech startups, Jay is considered to be one of the pioneers and shapers of the Philippine tech startup ecosystem.
In 2002, he founded Wi-Fi hotspot network Airborne Access, which was acquired by PLDT in 2008.
