Westerwelle Startup Haus Kigali (WSHK), backed by the Westerwelle Foundation and powered by Evonik Stiftung, is a vibrant entrepreneurship hub supporting small and growing businesses (SGBs) in Rwanda. Since 2018, WSHK has offered a dynamic ecosystem combining co-working spaces, private offices, a compact makerspace for prototyping, and tailored advisory services designed to help entrepreneurs scale sustainably. It is part of a larger network of hubs under the Westerwelle Foundation, with locations also operating in Kenya, Tanzania, and Tunisia. WSHK supports SGBs through accelerator programs, investor readiness support, and curated initiatives like SHEignites Greenpreneur Program for women-led green businesses and the AfDB Post-Incubation Program for tech startups. By offering capacity building, mentorship, and access to a strong entrepreneurial community, WSHK drives innovation and inclusive growth across the Rwandan startup ecosystem.
