Integrating Gender into Environmental, Social, and Impact Due Diligences with IBIS Consulting

Session Overview

A critical part of gender-lens investing is the ability to assess how a potential investee aligns with gender-related goals—both now and in the future—during the due diligence process. This includes identifying gender-related risks as well as opportunities to drive gender-related impact across the sustainable investing landscape.

In this session, IBIS Consulting will share practical, up-to-date guidance on how to meaningfully integrate gender into Environmental, Social, and Impact Due Diligences (ESIDDs). With the gender-lens investing field evolving—such as recent updates to the 2X Challenge criteria—this session will help investors rethink and strengthen their approach to gender assessment.

You’ll gain insights into:

  • How to align due diligence practices with the latest gender-lens investing standards
  • Identifying and managing gender-related risks at the investment screening stage
  • Unlocking gender-related impact opportunities within investment portfolios
  • Incorporating global best practices into your ESIDD processes
  • Navigating evolving frameworks like the updated 2X Challenge criteria
