
Kate Scaife Diaz joined ANDE in 2025 as Director of Global Programs. She connects learning across ANDE’s eight regional chapters and steers a portfolio of cross‑regional initiatives that strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems around the world, drawing on a career devoted to locally led growth and rigorous evidence of impact.
Kate brings more than fifteen years of experience supporting small and growing businesses. She coordinated localization efforts across USAID’s global programs, championing local actors and local initiatives to advance development initiatives. Before that, she served as Director of Impact at TechnoServe, leading measurement for entrepreneurship and agribusiness projects across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, and as a Grants Officer at the Inter‑American Foundation, managing a diverse Latin American portfolio. Kate holds an M.A. in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School, Tufts University, and a B.A. from the University of Chicago, and she speaks fluent Spanish.
