Rosemary Amondi joined ANDE in 2021 as East Africa Regional Director. Rosemary is a strategic leader and supply chain expert with over 15 years of experience as lead consultant on high impact trade and value chain related projects. She has a wide range of expertise in governance, strategic management and international trade development. She has served on several high performing boards, including GS1 Kenya, a global non-profit supply chain standards organization and more recently on the board of Fairtrade Africa.

Prior to ANDE, she led various value chain initiatives across diverse sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, service and retail as founder and CEO of Tracesoft. She has managed several trade development projects in Africa working with a variety of multinationals and development partners including Unilever, USAID and UNIDO. She is extremely passionate about business support services that enhance market access for entrepreneurs in developing economies. She holds a B.A. in Gender and Development Studies from Kenyatta University and an advanced diploma in strategic management from Strathmore University.
