
Experienced economic development team leader with expertise in impact investment & fund design, financial education, gender, communication campaigns and digital innovation across 10 countries. In the Senior Leadership Team, Diana oversees Good Return’s strategy and new program development in Asia to achieve financial wellbeing of low-income and marginalised communities, especially women. Diana sits on the Steering Committee for the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) East and Southeast Asia; on the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN) High Level Task Force on Gender Diverse MSMEs; and on the Advisory Board of the Sustainability Leadership and Impact Management (SLIM) Consortium.
Diana has provided technical assistance to government financial regulators, financial institutions, NGOs, microfinance associations, incubators/accelerators and multilaterals such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank and United Nations agencies. Diana holds a Master of Applied Finance from Kaplan Professional, Australia. She is Cultural Diversity Focal Point at Good Return, serving previously as Gender Focal Point.
Diana is leading the design and structuring of Good Return’s Impact Investment Fund 2, leveraging blended finance to guarantee and de-risk loans to MSMEs in Asia-Pacific, particularly women-led businesses. She was Convenor for the Frontier Brokers Network from 2019-2022, bringing together 7 impact investment firms for collaboration and advocacy on gender lens investing in Asia-Pacific: https://scalingfrontierinnovation.org.au/initiatives/brokers/. In 2021, this work was recognised with Good Return awarded as Winner – Market Builder of the Year – at the Australian Impact Investment Awards.
Prior to Good Return, Diana worked for the Australian Federal Government in digital policy, where she established and chaired a Women’s Network and was awarded an Australia Day Medallion for contribution to digital innovation.
