May Thinzar Aung | Director | ONOW Myanmar Co., Ltd.
Thinzar is a digital content creation expert with 7+ years of experience developing financial literacy content, digital literacy content, entrepreneurship content for ONOW’s digital platform. Thinzar has unmatched experience in both women’s economic empowerment initiatives as well as technology development in Myanmar. Since 2013, she has designed and led multiple financial literacy and entrepreneurship training programs with ONOW. In 2016, she led and implemented the redesign of ONOW’s microenterprise incubator, while also leading content creation for ONOW’s Build3 digital training platform. She has effectively designed for low digital literate audiences and has created chatbots for various target audiences, including women, girls, farmers, and parents of young children.
Stuart Clark | Consultant | SAP’s Business Transformation Services team
As a highly experienced consulting practitioner in both SAP and non-IT projects, Stuart has over 20 years of consulting experience on top of 15 years of business experience. In addition to this, as an officer in the armed forces, and at times in parallel to his civilian career, he has 15 years of experience in various leadership roles in the armed forces. He has a passion for understanding the inflection point of humanity and digitalization along with the impact it has on human change.
Stuart is currently a principal consultant within SAP’s Business Transformation Services team responsible for advising and leading transformation initiatives including digital roadmaps and deployments. He is primarily responsible for Business Success and Adoption which includes Digital Change Advisory, Innovation Management, Value Design and Deployment, and Strategic Roadmaps. He is also a certified practitioner in Business Transformation Advisory and Innovation Management.
Matt Wallace | Managing Director | ONOW Myanmar Co., Ltd.
Matt moved to Myanmar from the USA in 2008, and in 2012 co-founded ONOW, a social enterprise focused on tech-enabled livelihood development, business incubation and financial literacy, especially with migrant women. ONOW works throughout Myanmar, and has launched 500 micro and small enterprises through its incubator. Matt spearheaded the launch of two digital platforms; Build3, which builds digital literacy and financial capabilities while connecting users to financial service providers, and Sont Oo, which uses artificial intelligence to coach MSMEs. These platforms have been used by more than 300,000 people. Matt sits on the Steering Committee of the ESEAsia Chapter of ANDE. Matt earned an MA in Diplomacy and International Commerce, with a focus in Economic Development.
Fabi Hubschmid | Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder | Markaaz
Fabi Hubschmid is Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Markaaz, the world’s first global platform to verify and connect every small business on the planet and the network of partners that support them. Hubschmid is an entrepreneur with global experience in the platform, construction, and smart cities industry with a track record of leading global and complex transformations across private and public sectors. Prior to co-founding Markaaz, Hubschmid was Strategic Development Officer for AXA Global Enterprise & Partnerships, Founder & CEO of the Enix Advisory, Tutor for the ‘Beyond Smart City’ course of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and a member of PwC’s Global Smart Cities Team. Under the leadership of Hubschmid, the Markaaz team is developing the next generation of tools and resources for small businesses. Hubschmid is focused on creating positive and sustainable impact for small business owners. Hubschmid is a member of the WEF Global Innovator and Global Shapers and the Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC).
