Samuel Konnur, who goes by the name Shyam Konnur in public, is one of the leading voices in the LGBTQIA+ community in Pune and throughout India. He founded the Mist LGBTQIA+ Foundation to foster a secure and enduring environment for the community. He describes himself as an activist because he is always “willing to fight for the community”. He is a social entrepreneur who has made it his life’s work to support the LGBT community. Shyam has now represented Mist since the beginning. In addition, he became the founder of QAFF and ICO day, a TEDx speaker and a Mr.Gay India 2020
