The Global Social Entrepreneurship Network (GSEN) is the international network for organisations supporting early stage social entrepreneurs. Across the world support for start-up social enterprises is emerging and experimental. Support organisations don’t want to spend resources on reinventing methodologies and therefore are eager to learn from others. GSEN brings organisations together to understand and share what works in supporting social entrepreneurs. It creates a strong community of practice based on evidence-backed quality standards. As a result, GSEN members become more efficient in providing higher quality support to social entrepreneurs and are able to support more of them to start up, grow, become investment ready and create sustainable social impact. GSEN currently has 52 members creating impact in more than 50 countries. Last year, our members have leveraged $14M USD of financial support for more than 2000 social entrepreneurs benefitting to almost 700,000 people around the world. The network is rapidly growing, developing an effective ecosystem of support for social entrepreneurs around the world. Our vision is a world in which people find it easy to get the support they need to start and thrive as social entrepreneurs wherever they are and wherever they come from.
