Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME) has been set up to catalyze 'Mass Entrepreneurship’ in India with the intent to create 10 million new entrepreneurs, at least half of whom will be women, and 50 million new jobs by 2030. India needs its entrepreneurs to be a source of significant employment. Current job engines are falling short by over 5 million a year. Mass Entrepreneurship plays a much smaller role in the Indian economy (21% of jobs in India vs 35% globally are at SMEs) when compared with other developing and developed countries. GAME’s mission is to help create a roadmap for achieving mass entrepreneurship, finding out what works and what does not, helping to scale successful interventions, and mobilizing the community and resources to achieve the roadmap.
