This group aims bring together actors in the entrepreneurial ecosystem together to share knowledge and best practices in SGB financing in the West African region.
As the West African impact investing landscape matures, investors are getting more creative at designing different financial instruments that serve both social and financial objectives, take liberties with traditional debt and equity instruments in service of timelines, and return expectations or exit probabilities that best fit the company’s needs. The need to innovate with regard to access to finance for SGB financing necessitates fund managers and impact investors to rub minds together and learn from one another.

Previous sessions have focused on creative investment instruments can be used to advance social objectives with case studies from investors working in West African region, crowdfunding and fundraising best practices.
